Infrastructure Consultant

 You will be responsible for providing innovative solutions to our customer’s IT infrastructure problems enabling them to effectively adopt & deploy MS products & technologies, through long term relationship-based engagements. Also to improve the effectiveness of the MS Hungary Technical Community through creation of white-papers & contributions to solutions demonstrators.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Identify opportunities for providing value to customers & proactively offering to engage our services & ensuring they’re delighted with the delivery of the services,
  • Assist customers in the architecture, design & implementation of solutions based upon MS products & technologies,
  • Engage in an ongoing trust with the customer influencing their technical decisions & developing opportunities for adopting our products,
  • Transfer skills to customers through effective communication & service engagements,
  • Represent the interest of customers to internal groups,
  • Present a professional & compelling image of MS & its products through workshop, presentations & corporate seminars,
  • Remain technically competent in a broad range of MS products & technologies within area of expertise,
  • Help develop an environment for creativity, & where individuals & teams can take appropriate risks, using their own judgments.

Requirements:
  • At least 3 years consulting experience in the IT infrastructure design, implementation and governance area,
  • Good business awareness with a broad knowledge of the IT industry with, ideally, financial & legal awareness,
  • The individual should be able to design & implement complex solutions taking account of the full range of MS technology,
  • Higher education degree (Bachelor or Master degree),
  • Good English and Hungarian language skills in written and in verbal.
  • MCTS, MCITP or other relevant certification is a benefit.

Required technology knowledge:
Technical Expert level in several of the following areas or competitive products:
  • Windows Server 2003/2008 and Desktop (XP, Vista, Windows 7) OS
  • Active Directory
  • DNS, DHCP, WINS
  • Networking (ipv4, ipv6)
  • Virtualization
  • Desktop and Server optimization

Personal Attributes:
  • Work independently once direction is set & steadfastly pushes self for results,
  • Excellent communication skills & be able to deal at all levels within MS Enterprise Customers,
  • Motivation & desire to remain up to date with rapidly changing technologies,
  • Flexibility to be able to work at both architectural & detailed technical level within the focus area of products & technology,
  • Be able to advise client on effect of future technology changes,
  • Well-organised & able to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously,
  • A self-starter with the influential skills of understanding what it takes to build & work as part of cross-organisational teams,
  • Patience, ambition, tenacity, conviction & humor combined with strong presentation skills are vital to succeed in this area.

Premier Field Engineer – Platform

 

  • Overnight travel is required.
  • Travel potential up to 70%.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Deliver proactive onsite support and knowledge transfer to the customer,
  • Drive on preventing incidents during your customer visits,
  • Deliver  customized workshops to increasing technical knowledge,
  • Maintain deep knowledge of latest products and configurations of Enterprise,
  • Deliver technical workshops, presentations and documents to dedicated customer team,
  • Collaborate with the employer teams to deliver a high quality service,
  • Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction,
  • Work with  the employer support engineers using knowledge of your customer’s environment to accelerate problem resolution,
  • Manage customer expectations and deliver a service in line with contractual obligations,
  • Develop and deliver new services to exceed customer expectations,
  • Take responsibility for the  employer engagement and your own self development,
  • Work within employer account teams on strategic customer deployments which may extend outside business hours.

Requirements:
  • Service Management experience or 3rd level support experience;
  • Solid understanding of smooth running of IT operations, preferably at large enterprise
  • Experiences in critical situation handling & solving;
  • On site client support experiences ;
  • Face-to-face customer engagement skills;
  • Excellent written, oral and presentation skills;
  • Strong English and Hungarian skills both written and verbally;
  • MCSE qualification is an advantage.
